OATML

Ivan is a DPhil student at OATML supervised by Yarin Gal and Debora Marks. He is interested in applying machine  learning techniques to accelerating the rate of scientific discovery in systems biology. Ivan previously completed an MMath program at the University of Oxford where he focused on mathematical foundations of learning and mathematics of consciousness. Outside of academia Ivan interned as a quantitative trader at Optiver and served as a president of Oxford AI Society. Ivan’s research is funded by EPSRC via Healthcare Data Science CDT.
