Hazel Kim

Hazel is a DPhil student in Computer Science at the University of Oxford, supervised by Yarin Gal and Sebastian Farquhar in OATML.
She is also a student of the ELLIS Society and has Janet Pierrehumbert from OxNLP and Yonatan Belinkov from Technion as co-advisors.
Her research interest is interpretability and controllability in language models, applying statistical concepts or linguistic approaches.
Previously, she studied deep learning with limited data using linguistic compositionality in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at
Yonsei University. She then researched machine rationales and reasoning at NAVER AI Lab and Classting AI Research. She is a recipient of the Jung M. Foundation fellowship.
